A Brazilian wax at HOTWAX Newark is front to back — the bikini line, the labia, and between the cheeks. You can leave a strip or a triangle, or go fully smooth. Say so at the start so we shape it once.
The appointment is in a private room and usually takes about 15 to 20 minutes. You are not in a shared bay, and you are not on a mall timer.
Hard wax is $72 if your skin is sensitive or you prefer it on this area. Hard wax sets on the hair instead of a cloth strip, which is why we use it where skin is thinner. If a wax has gone badly somewhere else, tell us before we start.
First-timers are welcome. Come with about a quarter inch of hair if you can. If you can’t, come anyway — we’ll work with what’s there. If you’re nervous, say that too. A lot of people in this chair waited because they expected a public room or a rushed appointment. You get a closed door and a slot that is yours.
You do not need a full-body booking to get a Brazilian. Add underarms for $22 in the same visit if you want them done. French bikini and a standard bikini are on the table below if you want less removed.
We finish with calming products. Some redness the same day is normal and should settle. If you have questions about products you already use on that skin, bring it up at check-in so we can adjust.
Check in at the desk. Walk back. Door closes. A Brazilian here is a private room and about 15 to 20 minutes with an esthetician who does this service all day. We don’t double-book the chair.

Brazilian wax is $70. Hard wax Brazilian is $72. A French bikini is $60: the line plus a tight strip or triangle, without the labia, with an option to clear between the cheeks. A standard bikini is $35, just outside the panty line.

No heat, sweat, or sun for 24 hours. No exfoliating for 24–48 hours. Keep the area clean and leave it alone. Skip hot yoga, a long run, a tanning bed, and a scalding shower until the next day. Loose cotton is easier than tight synthetic fabric on day one. Your esthetician will go over this before you leave. That’s the short list.
Hair grows on a cycle. Most clients book a Brazilian about every four weeks. Over time the hair often comes back finer, and the appointment usually feels easier once you’re on that rhythm. A Brazilian lasts about three to six weeks depending on your growth.
A series is for people already on that cycle — three Brazilians, $185, any HOTWAX studio. It is not a membership, and it is not the headline here. If you want the 3-pack, it’s on Packages.
