What to expect

We start by asking about the look you want, whether that's a soft everyday glow or deeper color for an event. You'll change, and we airbrush an even, natural-looking color from head to toe, paying extra attention to knees, elbows, hands and feet so nothing looks streaky. You'll air-dry for a few minutes, dress and head out. Your color keeps developing over the next several hours, so what you see when you leave isn't the final shade.

How to prep

• Wax first. Book any waxing at least a day before your tan. We do hard or soft wax right here. Newark waxing
• Exfoliate the day before. It gives you a smooth, even base.
• Arrive with clean, dry skin. No lotion, deodorant, perfume or makeup.
• Dress for it. Wear dark, loose clothes and slip-on shoes.

Aftercare

Wait for the time your tech recommends before your first shower, then rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry. Moisturize daily to help your color fade evenly. Skip long hot baths, pools and heavy workouts for the first day. Timing an event? Tan one to two days before.
