She launched HOTWAX in 2014 out of a modest back room in a Baltimore salon, driven by a clear mission: to redefine the waxing experience at a time when beauty services were dominated by traditional hair salons and day spas. What started as a one-woman operation has grown into a thriving brand with a team of over 15 professionals and a reputation for excellence. HOTWAX specializes in waxing—its signature Brazilian wax is the service the brand is best known for—but also offers facial treatments, lash lifts, and brow services. Clients often describe HOTWAX as the Nordstrom of waxing studios: elevated, consistent, and welcoming, with every visit designed to feel like a red-carpet experience. From seamless online booking to service packages that deliver value, HOTWAX combines luxury with accessibility. Rebecca is most proud of the culture she’s built—mentoring and passing the baton to younger generations of waxers who carry the HOTWAX legacy forward.
